The dressing of this pattern was first given to me by Pat McGettigan from Drumshanbo Co. Leitrim. I believe he first had it dressed by Rogans Of Ballyshannon. It has a lovely combination of subtle colours in the body and hackle and Pat found it very successful on Lough Arrow. It is widely fished today. Fish it anywhere on the cast in a team of wets at mayfly time.
